Flag Fasteners for flags with a heading and two brass grommets. Both the standard and the rotating versions are ideal for both aluminum and wooden flagpoles. 2 rings per flag are required. (Do not mix standard and rotating rings.)

Note - Today most popular house mount flag poles are 1inch in diameter. More traditional style sectional aluminum or steel poles with an eagle ornament on top are typically 3/4inch diameter.

Standard flag fasteners slide onto 3/4inch, 1inch or 1 3/8inch diameter poles. The set screw is removed from the ring, inserted thru the flag grommet and screwed back thru the ring and tightened just snug enough to hold ring in place. Do not over tighten as this may break the ring. Place the rings apart so that the flag heading is in line and taut.

Rotating (aka spinning) flag fasteners are designed for use on poles that do not spin. Available for both 1inch and 1 1/4inch diameter staffs. Each fastener slides on the pole. the set screw is tightened to hold the fastener in position and the attached clip connects the flag. Connect the top fastener first then position and tighten the second ring in the necessary position to attach the bottom grommet of the flag to the clip. Do not position rings so that the flag heading is completely taut as this may prevent the rings from rotating freely around your pole.
